Yes you did, Let me see if I can find it for you..Be Back Soon,

Try this attachment, you need to delete the .zip part It should be a .apk file after you do this, DO NOT UNZIP IT, save it to your desktop, and rename it there, then install on your DROID.

Let us know how it works for you. I use this myself, and I love it. This is the 2.1 Media Player.

I do believe this is the one you are looking for.

Here is one I like even better, CLICK HERE, MixZing Try it, I think you will like it too.

Yes I want this to. There was a link to it a week or so ago but the link was taken down. So it would be great if some one can locate it...

    Thanks J

It has a nicer layout. Much better than the stock one we all have on our Droids From the Factory.

You could download from your phone then if you have astro you could go into downloads the rename to take the .zip part off the file name

ok, I've had this for a while now, but I've just got me some bluetooth headphones, how do I get the 2.1 player to take over the bluetooth button controls? right now ifI press any of them, the original player starts running

For some reason, I can't get this one to work for me. After I download, install, and open it, it looks like the 2.1 player. But when I press another tab, i.e. the songs tab, everything goes back to the old player. Even though I made the 2.1 player my default. I've tried several times. What am I doing wrong?

Does anyone know if this player does a better job at playing continous play albums? I have a lot of mix music with no break between tracks and the stock 2.0 players still has a hiccup(gap) between tracks...

All the changes to the 2.1 music player seem purely visual in my opinion.
I do like the new version, but for people asking about performance, I've not noticed a difference at all.

And here I thought I was the only one preferred the old version over the tabs.

    Anyhow they should in /system/app/
Market apps go in /data/app/ ( just in case, you never know when you'll need that info)

Finding which one usually just takes looking at the date created, the one with todays date is the new one obviously.

Check /data/app/ just in case, it could've gone there i guess.
    it'll be named com.something.music.apk if it's there.

    Can also check in /data/data/
    it's actually called com.android.music
if both are installed then the new one is most likely been renamed to com.android.musik so they can both run on the same system.
