Hey everyone, I can't find the easiest steps to revert back to the stock ROM. I currently have 2.1 installed, but wanting to trade my driod for eris, so I want to go back.

Whats THE EASIEST Way to go back?

    Thanks
    :)

Okay, I was following those directions, and accidently deleted everything out of my nandroid folder, what do I do now?

You could do a factory reset. It's always a good idea to keep your nandroid backs on your computer along with your sd card.

So even if I have 2.1 I can just do a factory reset and everything will go back to normal?

Well you will have to reinstall all your apps (most will automatically be installed when you sign into gmail), set up your email accounts, and configure the settings to your liking again.

If you do a clean wipe, you'll have stock 2.0.1 again (not a 2.1 rom).

Can you give me some instructions? I'll wipe it clean, but I need to pull my SD card out, cause I don't want it cleared

Download the file that xxhd just linked to, unzip it, put it in your nandroid folder on your sd card, boot into recovery mode, choose restore, and choose the file that you just downloaded (called virgin-oem). Now you'll be back to stock 2.0.1 plus root and busybox.

if you want to go all the way back have a look at my post here. I am working on it at this moment but will be done shortly. This image will go back compleatly including getting rid of custom recovery, root, busybox.

A factory reset will not change the ROM, you need to follow one of the How-To guides.
