Doesn't really do S5 owners any good if the phone doesn't recognize anything larger than 64GB.

Not out at the time of the press release, most likely. I'd suspect a 128gig SD will work as I don't believe it's anything like the issue with 4gigs of ram and 64bit.

For example, many phones claimed "32gig" cards as compatible but had no issue with the 64gig card.

Also, 128 gigs...wow...thats a lot. I have a 64gig in my Note 3 and I have issues filling it up. I have several movies on there and it barely makes a dent. My entire music collection is maybe 12 gigs which is why I pay for Google Music.

Confused. You have 12GB which is a decent amount. You have plenty of storage. And this is WHY you pay for GMusic? I think it would be the other way. Someone limited on storage with a small collection...
