I usually get around 20Mbps down and 10Mbps up, but right now i'm getting 12Mbps both ways. It varies a lot.

I came from an OG Droid which I bought a month after launch. I bought the Droid 3 the day after launch (direct order, not instore)
Get rid of ATK for sure. And anything else that runs in the background constantly like antivirus, etc.
From the Gallery app,
1.) Press and hold on the picture.
2.) Select Share
3.) Scroll down to "Downloaded Apps"
4.) Choose Facebook.
Even if you do not set up a Backup Assistant account on your new Droid 3, Contacts is automatically set up to save new contacts to Backup...
