As I said I don't usually do this but I think you just press sync button in the app. That's what I /just did to test it.
It doesn't happen automagically. You have to "sync" the book(s) you are reading. I don't think it syncs bookmarks either but I might be wrong.
Not really. Most/many movies are now being made available by streaming at Netflix, Amazon, Google, etc.
Maybe they'll release a bluetooth dvd player...

Aldiko is a standalone reader no syncing I'm aware of.
Or just leave them epub and use the Aldiko reader app. :)

Not true. I just tested it by dragging on of my drm-free .mobi books to the kindle directory and it is right there with the rest of the kindle...
An e-ink device requires some time to clear and redraw the screen. That's not the case with an lcd (other than the intentional page-turn animation...
But you can always use Aldiko. It's working great on the Xoom as well. Or FB Reader -- open source. :)
This. It works fine but is "plain-jane" as compared to the nifty google book reader that is already installed (with the page flip animations etc.).
Not really, but yeah a bit. I love the browsing experience on the Xoom. My computer is getting neglected as much or more than my DroidX. :snicker:
AhA! Yes. That is true. If I actually TURN IT OFF e.g. power down the light comes on. But Damn! It lost all my browser tabs! :p
