I agree 100%! The lockscreen is very minimal and it looks a little cleaner too, adding music controls would look more cluttered with the default...

I still have no luck on froyo 2.2 with the default mail client app. I get the dreaded "unable to open connection to server exchange", no problems...
You can push it back through adb (unzip it from the CM 5.0.6.2), maybe have to mount the system as read/write first. adb push Music.apk...
