Speaking only for android, I would say it is about time for a 'big' UI redesign. I'm for something for graphically intensive and cool to look at...
IMHO, until most tv's and monitors wield 2k displays, I'm more than happy with 1920x1080 (which is plenty, especially for a mobile device).

great rom o'course, only complaint is that battery dries up like hell pretty quick. i remember the ole carbon rom having fantastic battery life.
