Are you talking about seeing the password as you type it? If so I noticed the other day as i was zoomed in that i could now see the password as i typed it, but at normal view i couldn't.
Ya the password thing is annoying. Too bad it seems it's not fixable on Gary's end.
I did notice one time the password showed up fine. I don't know if I was zoomed, or wide viewport or what, but it worked. showed me the asterisks as you would see in stock.

The weird thing is the misaligned password in xscope seems to be actual letters and not asterisks, which is even further messed up on WebView's end.
I don't really get it though as Dolphin has no problem displaying the password characters.

Unfortunately not , another reason why I can't yet use xScope as my default it's really difficult to capture links and stuff. As much as I love the ease of use of the long 'press' feature it becomes very limiting when trying to do other tasks.

Don't get discouraged Gary I'm still rooting for xScope and you!!

I've had it work on every site I go to.
Does pinch zoom work in Google Maps for you?

Not sure if this will work but it's worth a shot. Try going to Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications. Press the menu button, then Filter -> All. In the list, click "Browser", is the "Clear Defaults" button available or grayed out? If it's available, click it.
    That worked, thanks

That is what the setting in xscope should do when U check it

I cleared EVERYTHING in the stock broweser, and then did a FC just 4 good measure.

Added an option to retain back position. It works but not great due to the fact that when webview loads a page from cache, it layout might be different. For websites with fixed layout design, it works pretty well.
    Other tweaks:
Added space between 'Clear Cache' and 'Clear All'
    'Menu + V' problem
Launching xScope as authentication process (e.g Touiteur)

The password misalignment bug can't be solved but I have investigated. It is labeled as medium defect now: here:
Issue 5596 - android - Password characters is vertically misaligned in WebView - Project Hosting on Google Code

Gary an odd thing happened today as I clicked on my email link for Swype with xScope it said I wasn't using an Android phone, tried it a few times. When I used the stock browser it loaded fine and I downloaded the file.

Same for me with the same download. The apk file downloaded, but when I tried to install it with Astro it was apparently corrupted. Tried xscope multiple times to download, but it was corrupted each time. Downloaded the apk with the stock browser, and the apk installed without a hitch.
