Nice work, Gary! Headed skiing today but will give the new build a shot. TT vs CC icons... For the sake of consistency, maybe I'll change the default skin to 'CC' when I hand off a refined version of the new default theme in the next couple days.![]()

This browser seems to get better daily. As soon as that option to stop swiping tabs is implemented, I can make xScope my primary browser. And also become a paid user
Thanks for your devotion to the community!
xscope is now my default browser. I think it's worth more that $1.99.![]()
Question.....can I create folders to organize bookmarks?
Absolutely great update!! it's my default browser now and lets me browse so fast!! I still have to revert to Dolphin to download some files from gmail. But for daily use it's perfect!! Can't wait til dolphin is no longer required!![]()
Gary I'm encountering another problem, this time it has to do with the 2.1 Gallery. I recently flashed a 2.1 ROM today and I noticed that images downloaded from xScope are not showing up in the Gallery again. I tried downloading the same images in Dolphin and they all show up fine.
I think it has to do with the way xScope handles downloads. Because you coded xScope so that it handles it's own downloads (allowing image viewing within the browser) it's not registering to the media server app (or something lol) that there were images downloaded and that the gallery should refresh itself (it's not communicating with the Android Media Service which handles downloads and media identification).
I tried downloading the same image in Dolphin and it all showed up fine. I think it's fine in Dolphin because it uses the Stock Android Download Manager (or something lol) and because it's communicating with it, it's notifying the media server that there are new images downloaded and to refresh the 2.1 gallery to load and register the new pictures.
This might bring up potential issues with 2.1 users that aren't seeing their images in the gallery. I think the challenge here is to have xScope handle downloads that way it is handling it now while allowing it to register to the media servers that new images were download without having to use the android download manager that always pops-up when downloading something. That way xScope handles it now IMO is way better and more like the desktop experience but if it doesn't register with stock android apps then it could become a problem.
I'm no coding expert (I wouldn't even consider myself a beginner lol) but I'm just using my powers of deduction to potentially isolate the problem! Even if everything I stated above sounds like BS please take it into consideration when looking at this bug lol!
UPDATE: It seems like doing a reboot was able to get the gallery to refresh. I tried Force Closing it before but it didn't do anything. I'm going to try downloading some more files to see if it's fixed or not.
