Gary!!! Can you please figure out a way to save images that have link's attached to them? I sometimes want to save an image but I can't because it opens a new window instead of an option to save it? Is there anyway you can do this without losing the ease of use of opening a new tab with the long press?
Hard one. Long press, either presenting users with options to choose or directly open link in new tab. The only way to solve it is introducing a user configurable setting. Maybe next week's work (handling all kinds of user preferences).

Yes. It is a problem.
In general, the scroll position is not managed by apps but the underlying web engine. So it may work for some websites but not others depending on how web is designed. This remains true no matter you use xScope or stock browserss. For example, some web in header may say 'expire immediately'. Which means when you go back, the old one is expired and the web engine engine will not use its old scroll position. In this case, I can see value of locally managing scroll positions.
By now, the best workaround is still long press. Long press --> opens link in new window while it leaves the old one intact.
Thanks

That'd be great! It's the one thing that is keeping me from using xScope as my default browser, it sucks because I want to use it soo bad lol!
Still running into the strange error with the Google search screen noted above after the last update. I've also found I can't get to the google mail choice from the Google "more" dropdown on the search screen though I can access it directly from my favorites menu.
Am I the only one experiencing this?
P.S. BTW, I've tried clearing the cache as well as "clearing everything." No effect.
I am also getting an error on google's search screen.
Does anybody know why (Gary??) I cannot dl any files with Xscope. I get the same message every time (see attached). What formats are allowed? Not even .apk or.zip??
While xScope is working really well now, I am not sure about the memory management pop up that is happening often now. It is asking about manually closing apps. I thought the OS whas supposed to handle that.
It only download Http links not https at this moment. Sorry about that.
