REQUIREMENTS:
DE requires your phone to be running a FRG22D (Unless stated otherwise) stock deodexed system rom.
Some additional features may require certain additional connection tools such as ADB or access to a PC.
Not all ROMs are compatible. Please check what you are running on your phone before applying DarkEdge.


THIS THEME IS NOT TO BE REDISTRIBUTED, MODIFIED, RELEASED or UPLOADED as your own.

If you would like to use any portion of this theme or port to a device/ROM we don't support, send an email to our team @ DarkEdge support.

-RULES-
-Any port/roms that include ANY part of the DarkEdge Theme is not allowed on "Rom Manager".
-Your "DE Approval Seal" must link back to this thread.
-You cannot distribute any part of DarkEdge in/with a FULL rom.
-You cannot distribute a modded version of DarkEdge (If you want to remove the scanlines, you can. As long as you make a seperate mod for the original DE)
-In your port of DarkEdge, the name of the port must stay "DarkEdge". ("DarkEdge for CM6" is good, "MyEdge for CM6" is not approved)

10/05/10 Were starting a new "Approved DarkEdge port/rom/distributor program" Look for the seal below on all DarkEdge approved ports/roms. If you want to be included in this program all you have to do is meet the above requirements and an image will be generated.
If you want to verify if the image is not a fake, all "DE Approval Seals" will be hosted on my server (Just make sure the seals are located there).






DarkEdge v1.0 for Droid1 FRG22D (in update.zip format)


-Install notes for DE-FRG22D-
-This is not a full rom. Make sure your phone is on FRG22D first. Then use this update.zip to theme the phone.
-If you get a "null null" error on DarkEdge Tools, please download "Busybox" from the market.

-Google Voice widget has a slight bug in widget (Will be fixed soon)
-Automatic min brightness set very low (Will revert back to stock soon)

The only part/area of DarkEdge that is not made by our Team, google, or from the "market app devs" is the base for the Music Controls on the Lockscreen (Cyanogen Mod).
Which will be redone/removed when more time is available. So DarkEdge can be 100% inhouse again.

Before you act, MAKE A BACKUP.


QUICK INSTALL GUIDE:

First, make sure you are on FRG22D. Download your color choice. (ITS AN UPDATE ZIP)

DE.FRG22D MAIN - Gold | Blue | Green | Orange | Pink | Purple | Red

Install it. (that means go into recovery or use RM if you are one of those types of people. :P)

Now download DarkEdge Tools off the market. Make sure you have download the apps that need theming. Currently in the market pack are: BeautifulWidgets, Buzz, EtaskKiller, Facebook, Gmail, GoogleFinance, Googletranslate, GoogleVoice, SSI Gtasks, Handcent, Google Maps, Pandora, SetCpu, Techwidget and Twitter.

Once you have those installed, run DarkEdge Tools and select app transfer. THIS WILL MOVE THE APPS FROM DATA TO SYSTEM SO THEY CAN BE THEMED. IF YOU SKIP THIS, YOU WILL HAVE ****** UP APPS.

Once that completes, download the DarkEdge apps metamorph zip, extract it into the AndroidThemes directory on your sdcard. Run metamorph and select the control file. Make sure you WATCH the process. It may reboot randomly at an app and the rest will remain unthemed. If that occurs, continue going one by one after for the remaining apps.

If you had confusion about the install process. I hope this helped. If you find any hint of gold while using a 'color' version, please take a screencap and mail to darkedgedev@gmail.com so that I can address it. Let's not clog this thread down.

If one of the apps we support looks funny, try applying it through metamorph again. It occasionally may take an extra attempt or two.
