Have you tried doing the code part in 'charge only' mode (with the adb drivers installed for this mode as well of course)? That was the only way I could get it to work..

Also one other thing though I don't think it has anything to do with your phone rebooting. The command to copy from sdcard for me was wrong. I did a "df" and it showed it mounted on /mnt/sdcard so I had to use that as a path.

If you're still having probs with core.odex try redownloading and installing java... worked for me and I was having huge probs
Which Java? JRE, JDK or just plain old Java? xUltimate has always worked for me just using the JRE and JDK but now I ran into a problem and trying to fix it

then i get device or recourse busy.

Here's how I found out about it from my post above. I read someone saying they installed 64 AND 32 bit JRE and JDK (they were on 64 bit system). I went to jave.com and installed the 64 bit version of JAVA then went to "other files" i think and installed the 32 version of JAVA (NOT JDK). Then it ran fine for me. I was getting the error on the core.odex file.

I uninstalled everything that said Java in my control panel, and then downloaded just regular Java and it worked for me.

I got device busy as well, but went forward anyways and it was fine. I read somebody else say that as long as you throw the reboot on it'll remount anyways.

Yea, Xeudoxus said that VZW made a bad file, thus getting that error. It's not the script's fault, and he is working on getting a fix.
