[Release] xUltimate

Hi,

I've got a problem.
I wanna have my statusbar pulldown transparent. It shall look like this here:

I've the newest FroYo Update FRF91B on my Nexus One.(Modaco ROM)

What I've done: Downloaded the xUltimate-TP-X86.zip, extracted it and copied the services.jar to this folder. Now a double click to the .exe file.
AA command propmt appears and started some things.
But then there is "Error - press any key to exit"

What I've done is: Running at Administrator, XP Compatiblity Mode, copied the two files to the folder, where my ADB is...

Nothing works, everytime: error!

Guys, what can I do. I'm running Win7 Home Premium.

Its possible its not compatible (its difficult for it to work with everything right now "until froyo is official")

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I've tried it on three computers and everything the same.

"Error - press any key to exit" (or so, it's in german)

Why am I too dumb to use this program?


What I've done:
I've setup an androidsdk on every single computer
Java is installed and other java programs are working fine here.
Extracted the zip file, copied the services.jar to its folder and started the exe with double click.

The path to the program is:
d:\downloads\android\programme\xUltimate-TP-x86.exe

I hope anybody can help me to get it to work.

Ah: I've tried it on Win7 and WIN XP, both with admin rights.

Just to confirm before I might break something:
Is this program and it's functions compatible with other phones? Such as my Samsung Galaxy S i9000 with Android 2.1.

(Not expecting the Draw9Patch Compiler, Froyo Transparency Fix or Auto Brightness Patcher to work.)

the very basic requirement is root.
after that phone has benn rooted, 50/50 change xU features will work. (ull just have to test lol)

Feeling like a noob, but have a few simple questions and hope that someone can educate me on the use of xUltimate (which really is an excellent set of tools. . . amazing work Xeudoxus). I really appreciate any help that someone can provide.

First off, I am running Bugless Beast 0.4, in case that matters.

Secondly, I have downloaded the latest version of the xUltimate 1.2 zip file.

I see the jar subfolder and the two executables (Main and Test), but don't seem to be able to get the phone to connect with either of the .exe's.

The steps I followed are:
1 - connect the phone to my pc via USB
2 - mount the phone via the USB connection
3 - double click on the test.exe and it doesn't seem to connect.

Do I extract the folder and the executables and put them into a folder on my computer? What's next? I have read various posts that lay out the steps from the xUltimate tool, but somehow I have to get the phone and xUltimate to communicate.

What I am trying to use xUltimate for (my initial purpose, anyhow) is to remove the clock from the notification panel to free up some space.

You should not be mounting your phone.

Thanks for the quick response - so, other than that basic mistake :icon_eek: (ha), are my steps in line (i.e., run the text.exe, get a good result back, and then run the main.exe?)

Appreciate the guidance.

Unzip to C:\xUltimate
Run test.
Pending good results, run main.
