I'm trying out the inspector. One of my apps is "Dow Jones" When I try choosing it, it says "Warning! Cannot scan private apps". What exactly is a "private app"? And is there any other way to scan it?
I have a rooted Droid 1. No custom ROM or kernel.
When uploading apps to the market you have the option to make it private, which puts the app into a "private" folder when installed. Nonroot phones cannot access that directory, but rooted phones can. Because PB/PI are non-root apps, even with root on your phone, you cannot scan those apps in that folder.

I tried it on my Droid and it worked well. After the last update from last night it worked
well on my Captivate also. Great work. Thanks.

I am truly amazed at some of the connections/info that I was unknowingly broadcasting. This really is a must-have app for and owner of a rooted Android.
Again keep up the incredible work.:icon_ banana:
when i first bought and ran the app yesterday, it had a batch mode of groups of 5. It updated today thru the marketplace, and now I don't have batch mode any more?
