I am eligible for an upgrade and since I have had this phone (DX2) for what seems like a lifetime, I thought I would post this question and see what kind of response I get...
I am looking at the Note 2. In fact, I have pretty much fallen in love with this phone. Funds are tight, but anyone who knows me knows that when I want something bad enough, I usually get it. And since I have actually held and played with the phone there is no other phone that even come close to the "high". lol OKay, with that being said... I have been watching Verizon, Amazon and Wirefly for the cheapest deal. A few days ago Amazon had the phone for $99 upgrade. I can seriously kick myself in the behind for not getting it, but I thought I would hold off and see if the price would go lower. UGH!! The very next day it was up to $179.99 for upgrade. Is anyone familiar with Amazon's sales or promotions and how often they will drop prices like this? Or is it just luck of the draw?
Also, I have bought several of my families phones on Wirefly over the years. Their price is still WAY to high for me. And Verizon is a whooping $299.99 for upgrade, but they are offering new customers the phone for $149.99 which really chaps my butt. But that is a different story... anyway, Does anyone know of any other place to look? Or does Verizon do price match? I would make the $179.99 work if I could go to the Verizon store and walk out with my phone right then. Somehow, I don't think they will, but it never hurts to ask.
Edit: I wanted to also mention that I emailed customer service at Amazon to see if they would honor the $99 still and if not, when would it go back on sale. Yeah... they were of no help. lol
