    Time to root

    Got the OTA GB,hate it...too many issues.Have now decided to take the plunge and root,can that be done with the update?

    I'm not rooted (yet), but flashed this RUU and the only problem was with the backing up/sync afterwards.

    [Exclusive] Gingerbread Build 2.11.605.5 For The HTC Thunderbolt, Fixes Several Issues From Official Gingerbread OTAProbably easier than rooting/flashing a ROM, but it's up to you.
