Have a problem dialing. I mean I can make calls to some cell numbers but when I dial *228 to re program phone and see if that's why. It just says failed. Any suggests or just take it in?

I don't think you can use *228 with the 4g sim card. Pretty sure thats what my VZW guys said yesterday. Anyone know if there is a different way to reprogram your phone to improve reception?

Don't dial *228.

Apparently it can retire the sim card, requiring you to get a new one.

Not sure if it really will, as I talked to an indirect store rep who dialed *228 and the phone worked fine afterward, but as there is a warning against it, I wouldn't try it.

I'm not positive how often the SIM will update the PRL, but it should do it automatically so you don't need to worry about it.

You *just* got the phone, your PRL is up to date.

If you're having problems calling certain numbers, call customer service and troubleshoot it.
