help me with my sisters thunder bolt please?

good afternoon everyone,

ok im gonna finnaly be nice and throw on a custom rom for her,
she has been complaing about it since day one,(battery and super slow)
im not really a pro . but a novice.

first question is
my sister has a game that she doesnt wanna lose the data for it

so i download the titanium backup and save it , and after a flash another rom, will it be there?

second question
is this gonna be as simple as thowing on liberty for my droid 2?

i have no idea what a kernal is and i know this phone has more things to customize than my lockphone

The only question I can answer is about the game, if you use titanium backup then yes, you have the option of backing up user app and data of the app.

But they need to watch...sometimes the data doesnt restore like its supposed to...

I've never had my data not restore correctly, I've done I probably 30 times at least too.

I had problems with titanium

i have never had an issue with titanium backup and i use it A LOT

and for roms, i would stay away from GB for the time being and use das bamf 1.7 and i believe you have to flash a specified radio; there are several to choose from and to find the one that works best for the phone you have to flash them all.. inconvenient i know but its worth the hassle, sometimes. also htc development is different than motorola in many ways(ex.hboot, more dependent on adb...etc.) so read up on it before doing anything with the bolt.
