thanks man
this was sent from my phone that is cellular
I want to change my second splash screen and I don't have the bootanimation.zip file in my system/media/ folder. I actually don't have any files in there. I'm running a rooted HTC Thunderbolt with the latest software. Liquid Thunderbread is fantastic BTW, but too buggy, so I went back to Sense. Did I misunderstand all that I read, and that is where I put the ZIP of the new animation, and run HBOOT?
i know im probably asking a really dumb question but im a noob at all this rooting and flashing etc....if i want to change my splash screen i just copy new file and paste over the old one and make sure the name is correct with out the .zip.zip?
You are talking about the boot animation I gather? If so you want to check out boot animation changer(BAC) on the market. Not only does it push the new animation for you but there are like a hundred on there that you can download. Or you can use adb and push your animation to system/media or data/local...
Sent from my Thunderbolt running Uber Bamf Preview 3...
the second splash screen is part of the bootanimation file so you will have to change it there...if its not in the system/media/ folder then look in the system/customize/resource file for it

Could you do one for me.. Something that has to do with Anonymous. I have a couple images I can link here, and hopefully one fits somewhere around the dimensions you need. If not, you can mess with it a little and do your thing. http://www.thetechherald.com/media/i...eAreLegion.jpg ... http://cache.ohinternet.com/images/8...ousBecause.jpg ... http://www.gamepur.com/files/images/2011/anonymous.jpg.
