Transparent apps...what's missing ?

jatx.. I searched the web (1st few pages on results anyway) and over on xda. Can't find anything about themeing GB.

I had success in theming the previous release of GB by simply pulling the framework and replacing the images - this UD build is the first I have seen the theming app built in and even the theme it comes with has a problem sticking - might have to do it the old fashioned way - I will be digging deeper tonight

some of the statusbar icons don't change though, like 3g and others I can't think of now, presumably because the .pngs for those aren't in drawable-hdpi.

I was about to post that in googlequicksearchbox that the text when you type is black not white. Not in the text box but below. Then I realzied it was done by team sorcery. Not team inversion conversion. Lol

You can use mine....its the newest one and all the text I've seen is what it should be....for now you would have to pull it from my theme but I can post just that later...the theme us called faded
And I think I found a few things in gb haven't had a chance to test them yet though

alright thank you very much....that bg that changes is a cachecolorhint i should be able to find it and ill look at the widget and hopefully come up with something before whenever it is I go to bed.

Couple things regarding FB, I've got the widget transparented (everything except that ugly white bubble around where it says "what's on your mind?") - and was also able to transparent the background of the photo reel on the main page by replacing the .png file. The only parts left that I can see are the above mentioned black background while scrolling and also the comment list background when viewing photo comments or post comments. For some reason I can't recompile anything in apk manager, so if you could find those two backgrounds I could take care of the photo reel and the widget, sign it, and put up a link for everyone.

You can set it to dark in the settings.
I'd like to see it dark with a transparent background.

I dont even remember where I found this but its the coolest handcent Ive seen. Just unzip and install through file manager. Its not the most recent version either but its so cool i dont really care...

Someone help me out? I decompile, edit but cant recompile anything but framework-res. What am I doing wrong? Even if I dont edit anything it wont recomp. Im using 4.7, if that matters.

what does your log say when it fails??? Its confusing that you can compile framework and not other things. Are you able to post your log.txt . If you do post it delete the whole log then recompile something and get the error and post that so that your not posting something a mile long lol
