Inverted apps... what's missing?

Myspace updated again. I need to get mine back off my phone lost the hard drive on my laptop earlier this week. Lost all my apps I had open for when they update to make png's easily access'd now I need to open my old one from my phone to get what I already made work from TheBowers's work.
I never did get into trying to invert it myself so I guess its not that much work just sucks i never made a MM of it.


edit: I got it done, also did the buttons up tops to light blue with black background like the stock alternative was in the folder. when I seen them I decided that would be quick and easy to add.
Wish I new how to do the inversions you guys do. I know there is alot of info on how to do this around. I get headaches when I read too much, im legally blind so I have been lazy in all honesty. I think whats left to do on this app would be only background itself to black and text color change. I beleive I have all but one image done. The widget background .9 image I cant get the white added for the text area. I got it work fine in landscape mode.

EDIT: STILL HAVE THAT DAMN BLUE BAR. I cant figure out where that image is coming from.

Everyone here is so damn good at this, good job everyone! I think somebody here can probably tell me the answer to this. I have two white with black lettered menus and I'm not sure which xml they are. If you are on a homescreen and hit the menu softkey and if you longpress a homescreen. I believe some ROMs have this, mine dose not. Anyone?

I tried installing as I normally do with root explorer is that why ?

reinstalled the unthemed one with root explorer and its working hmm now im confused I can usually install most this way.

MAD450r.... this messenger needs to install as an update.zip in recovery. Also make sure you don't have a messenger in the /dta/app folder.

Once I get it perfect, I will make it so it's installable via root explorer.

Reason being, I have far more experience doing things as a /system/app file that I want to make sure that through the "construction" process I am doing things error free.

samething installing via update.zip its just not there anymore. I removed it via rootexplorer and putting mine over that one and it appeared wihtout a reboot. I never seen that yet. Im really confused at what is going on with this app. I'll reboot phone and with all removed then I'll try update.zip again but its strange that this wont work. I can put it in just as updatezip does with root explorer but its fine I'll use the updatezip method since you suggest it for this. Just doesn't make sence its doing the samething. I'll try it on my d1 right now to see if it works there. I did remember to mount system for my dx when in recovery, I can do the same for root explorer as well if im quick to get into root explorer and mount the system portion then it just as it would be in recovery.

Dude.. you aren't using a D1? lol That explains everything. The updater-script isn't setup to install on an X or a Dinc.

I removed the apk and put it in my dx template. been at this a while too

Just something must be different on the x or something that you are changing or something. I cant figure why its doing this. works on my d1 but writing is way too small on that for my bad vision

Interesting. I am going to have to figure this X thing out. How does the messenger look on the D1 though? Do you see anything off hand that needs fixed?

I'll get a better idea how it looks once the phone turns back on, had 50% battery it said I flashed the zip and it ran for about 4-5 minutes and turned off. doh

wish I could figure it out on the X.
