I noticed another issue today. Whenever I get Facebook notifications in the notification bar I click on them and nothing happens. ie. Facebook doesn't open when I click on the notification.

I'm on Kin3Tx with ICS Blur which means 5.8.894. Should I be concerned with converting back to get the OTA and then ramp back up or is that necessary? Thanks. I'm just a tad confused on that point.

I checked the MD5 and it's good. I did find a sound file called Verizon Wireless and renamed it... no more sound. I wish I knew what was causing it to play. I'm going to have to look where that sound file was stored when my phone is done restoring... I flashed back to when I had Liberty, but and going to stick with Kin3tx for a while. If that sound file was on the phone and not the SD card, that means that sound file was with the ROM right?

No. Your way better off how you are. I run the same. Makes no sense to downgrade to the OTA.

That's kind of what I thought but I kept reading about folks going back to stock to get the OTA. I'll stick where I am. Everything's running great and my battery life has really settled down. Thanks.

First off..I'd like to say I love this ROM and can't wait for the ICS to be completed! But I have been having a problem with my GPS lately. Whenever I go from Wi-Fi to wireless I seem to loose my GPS. In Google Maps I'm able to find my location but it seems to loose the ability to find my current location in the browser and I use this app "Beautiful Widgets" that seems to have the problem finding my current location as well. Please help..it seems to work fine at first but then this happens awhile after I freshly flash a new ROM.

Is your GPS always putting you at your exact location say for instance in maps?

Well..once I open maps when I'm having this problem..it first shows me at my previous location for my GPS track..then it shoots on over to where I actually am and then shows my current location. But that's the only thing that works for current location..nothing else. Like currently..my browser says that GPS is unavailable..but Google Maps is the only GPS that works. What does correct the problem temporally is a restart of my phone and then it works until Wi-Fi / Wireless change. Now if I leave or turn off my Wi-Fi to go back to Wireless..I still need to restart my phone for temporary fix. This problem is truly weird because this just started happening again in the past few days..the last time this happened was around Thanksgiving when I was using the Purity ROM / IC3 PAK and then I wiped everything and used the Purity ROM again with the Honeycomb/ICS PAK (sorry don't remember the exact name..but that was the combination PAK)..then things worked ok for a bit..then I wiped again and loaded [K]IN3TX v1.0 with IC3 PAK on the 8th of December when it came out and had no problems up until a few days ago..I'd say Saturday the 17th. There are not automatic disabling apps being used for anything (like JuiceDefender or anything like that) for GPS / Wi-Fi / Bluetooth..no settings were changed either. The only thing I can think of is Google Maps was updated a few days ago and that's about when I started having my problem. I even tried clearing cache and dalvik cache too and still having a problem.
