Apps downlaoded, but no updates & no listing in MarketPlace

I have a Droid 1, and recently downloaded the new 2.2 operating system. I now have two problems. I do not know if they are related to the new operating system, but I suspect that they are related to each other.
Problem 1.
I noticed over the past week or so that I'm not getting any app updates - NONE -, where as before, I would get anywhere from 1 to 6 app updates almost every day.
Problem 2. Then I also noticed that when I go to the Android Market, and click on the menu, the message comes up: "No downloads from Android Market." Or if I go to the Android Market and click on the "Apps" tab near the upper left part of the screen, the screen will show "Loading", and it will not stop - nothing loads. I can still do a search on Android Market and download and buy and use new apps, but when I go back to the Market, it will still show "No downloads from Android Market".
Does anyone know what's going on?

I am on 2.1 and have the same issue.. I am rooted.
