    top menu bar -- red circle, no clock

    Good Morning Forum,

    I woke today and found my Droid looking a bit different, and I can't figure out how to fix it. Other than updating Google Maps last night, I have changed nothing.

    On the top menu bar,
    ...the first leftmost icon is now a red circle covering a a dark box
    ...the 3G/reception/battery bars have shifted to the left
    ...and the upper right time clock is missing

    There are no pending notifications, emails, updates, etc. When I do receive an email, the usual M appears on the upper left and the red circle goes away. But as soon as I read the email, the red circle comes back.

    Can anyone help me with this problem?

    did you install a theme app of some sort? why would everything shift to the left? have you tried soft-resetting?

    Nope, no new themes or apps.

    So... I powered down and removed the battery, and presto, everything is back to normal. Thanks for suggesting to try something different!

    But does anyone know what that red circle icon means??
