  1. Stock 2.1 to 2.2 Froyo Step By Step installation - post13
  2. If you apply a rom or theme - backup first!
    If you don't know how to backup...Stop until you do.
    hint: I name my backups like this: sg6.0_20100428 or ss4.2_20100626 to easily find them later. rom and date.
  3. SBF to root and unroot

hmm, or the other way around? longpress the image, then save it.

Only option is to copy attached to sd card?

Yep, your gallery is stored on your SD card, not the app, but it's contents.

will it copy the message with it or just the picture? Thanks for the info. I cant seem to longpress JUST the picture.

yea, at first I thought the question was how to save an image from a text, I had it backwards

Will try and see what saves now, seem to be longpressing everything and never just the picture but we'll see.
