Music ID3 Tags, Unknown Artist, etc

So I have seen several threads about people having music transfered to their droid but then several songs appear with unknown artists. I too had this issue. I am copying files from itunes, in the mp4 format. I have figured out what is causing this, but I have no idea why. It seems that files that have embeded album art are the ones that have this issue. If I remove the album art and re copy to the droid, they work fine. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Just do what i did... download the app Itag. it works perfect. no more dealing with transfers and retransfers.

I don't really want an app though. i would like to know why the droid has a problem with embeded album art. I want to just transfer over and be happy.
