PPTP VPN dying after a short while
I am having this problem. My PPTP connection is established then fails after just a few short minutes. I would like to hear from anyone who has this working in case there is any tuning I can do on either end to resolve this.
Thanks.

I am fighting with this issue as well. I have tried without encryption and different PPTP servers (cisco, windows) without any success.
The symptom I get is the VPN appears to be connected on the DROID, but no packets are allowed.
I am going to try to get IPSEC running - but I am not confident.
