Droid Razr calling on it's own

Hey guys, there was a thread describing EXACTLY what I'm going through with my Razr, but it was a different phone model, didn't have a real answer, and hadn't been bumped since November, so I decided to just start fresh.

So when I listen to audio through headphones on my Razr (always either PowerAmp or the Adam Carolla App) the phone will at random either go into voice command or dial my last outgoing number. When this is happening the phone is usually in my pocket, but sometimes just sitting out next to me. I also know the touch screen was off every time it happened. It happens as randomly as a minute apart to 20 minutes apart, but it will still consistently do it at least once within that time frame. What can I do to prevent this? Thanks in advance.

Haven't heard of that one yet. I'll do some research and see what I can come up with.

Exact same thing happening to me. Im using older headphones. I might try newer ones. But the thread discussing this problem with other modwls suggested opening thw phone and bending the copper lead coming from the head jack. We don't habe that option with the razr. :/
