LG Vortex - weird pop up

For the past couple of days there's a weird screen on my phone that keeps popping up. Looks like this:

It happens when I'm in the middle of a call, playing or game, even when my phone is locked and I'm not on it. This screen pops up, then goes back to my home screen, then this again, back to home screen, etc., about ten to fifteen times before it stops.

Any ideas on how to get it to stop?

Unless I am mistaken, it looks like a screen for your alarm clock. If your alarm is set and you don't need it anymore, you should turn it off. And if you didn't enter a specific day of the week for your alarm to ring, then the default setting is for it to ring daily.

thanks! i kept the alarm on but got rid of the widget and that screen stopped popping up
