    Individual SMS being sent as group thread?

    I use Handcent as my default messenger. However, over the last month I have experienced issues when texting one specific person. Whenever I text them individually it sends the text to just that one person, but it comes up as a group thread. When I send a second message, it then gets sent to everyone in that thread. I have deleted all my texts, and tried again. I've deleted the app and used just the stock messenger. Finally I deleted all of those contacts and the app and tried texting just the number of the individual. However, the problem is still there. It only happens with that one contact. Any ideas as to how I can fix the problem?

    I'm having the EXACT same problem right now, and I have no idea how to fix it.

    I unfortunately had to wipe my phone. It was a pain in the ass but it fixed the problem.
