About LinkBacksI have been notified 4 different times that the update is available. When I click okay to re-boot, nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

12-28-2011 07:32 AMOh, sorry. No, the phone is not rooted. It is stock, just as when I bought it except that I have added some apps from the app store.

12-28-2011 04:10 PMYeah those shouldn't effect the update at all. That is strange though. Have you tried rebooting your phone and then trying it again?

12-28-2011 07:52 PMYes, after I re-boot, the link is gone to upgrade the system. Is there a way to access the link other than having it appear on its own?

12-28-2011 08:09 PMWell assuming it works the same on your phone as the Moto devices I have owned try this:
Go into Settings > About phone > System updates > then once in there "Check for Updates" - The wording may not be exact but should be close to that.
