Has anyone had issues with the new 5.5.893 update?

I installed this on my Bionic last Friday and it corrupted my phone. I spent 2 hours at Verizon Wireless and the techs finally called in a replacement for me. Now that I have my new phone, I am afraid to make the update. (It keeps prompting me to update)

Any insights?

It totally messed up my phone also.

Verizon sent me a replacement which prompted me to update and that phone was even worse.....literally reset itself every 10 minutes for 3 hours while I was at a Christmas party. Not to mention the screen freezes and data drops. Thankfully I had not mailed the first phone back yet and switched back to it as it was the lesser of the 2 evils.

I am awaiting my third bionic today and do not know if I should install the update or not??

Until they have a patch for this buggy update, I would hold off on the update; at least, I am. The techs at the store were equally stumped and I don't want to spend another 2 hours at Verizon.
