Home replacement apps and 2.1 apps kill my phone?

I use panda and if I tell it to default to panda, it will force me to wipe the phone after about two days. I couldn't change my ringtone either it made panda force close. It does the same thing with launcher 2.1, Gallery, etc.

i've had home++ since i got my phone in november and never had a problem except a few FC issues. Uninstall and then reinstall panda and see if its better.

I've done that before. I once had to find an apk for it to install then remove panda just to put it off

I've had similar problems with Home++ and with Launcher2. I did find that if I stopped using Swype, the problem would go away with Laucher2, but not with Home++. I loved Home++ but had to stop using it. I use Launcher now with ShapeWriter instead of Swype. You may be able to find such an interference on your Droid.
