About LinkBacksSo here's the story. I've had my Droid since around 7am on Friday when it was released. I've used it and played around.... it was great. Today I had to go somewhere in my car, and I put the phone down in the cup holder which I normally do. I get to my destination and pick up the phone. I tried to check if I had any emails or whatever. I couldn't get the screen to turn on. I tried everything... opened and closed the keyboard... pressed the buttons... pressed and held down the power button... pressed and held it down again.... nothing. I finally took out the battery, put it back in, and then it was able to power up again. Once it was up, it seemed fine..... but seriously, WTF!!
Anyone else see this?

11-09-2009 06:09 PMI had that happen to me once on Saturday afternoon, but a battery pull did the trick.
Sometimes you just NEED to pull out the battery.
Be thankful you can remove the battery, unlike some other phones

Besides these things.... the Droid is totally awesome and kicks @$$!!! -
