multiple facebook contact entries issue

Noticed the other day that now in my contacts list, that each one that has a facebook entry, the entry is listed 4 times for each contact.

Anyone else have this issue and know how to resolve it?

Go into facebook app settings, undo the contact sync (as in, turn it off completely), then redo the contact sync to whatever setting you'd like (sync all or only phone contacts). This cleared up the issue for me.

Yeah, I did pretty extensive search and it seems to be a common problem, the only solution is the one posted by templetonryecy (disable and re-enable facebook sync). Seems like facebook app problem, hopefully they'll fix it.

Given that you cannot edit facebook acounts locally it's not a big deal, i.e. you are not losing any information.
