    oh.. that's rough.

as with any electronic device that is wet, don't try to power up, take battery out, and put the device in rice (dry, and uncooked lol) give it atlease 24 hours and reassemble, remove all the rice from the orifices, and try to power up. oh and praying should be in there somewhere.

basically put the laptop in a big tupperware container or mega zip log bag. tape off the holes you don't want rice getting into. and completely submerge it in rice (it's ok rice is cheap) you may have just shorted out the internals, so maybe if that doesn't work pull the HDD and try to recover data off of it.

okay, just my 2 cents. you can try whatever you like, i have successfully saved cell phones with the rice method and would definitely (carefully) try it with a laptop. it just sucks all the moisture out of the device
Dry out your soaked gadgets in rice

Get your laptop bring it outside, flip it and leave in sun, for about 10 mins till its pretty hot (But not too hot!) And then crazy as this seems put in your freezer or another really cold place for a few mins then, turn on it will work i know this because me & my friend were playing outside for about 10 mins and we joked around and put it in freezer for like 5 mins and it then worked we where like ftw? This isn't a 100% way to fix it worked for my alienware.
