Status Bar and Pulldown Menu

In cyanogen mod 6 (watermark'd) they had all the options for changing the status bar color along with all options within the pulldown menu. Why is this option no where to be found on newer roms and how can i do this on MIUI roms as easy as this?

MIUI is based on cyanogenmod but the framework is completely different. There is no easy way to do it, you'd probably have to have advance knowledge of how the framework works and know how to edit .xml's to edit the pulldown toggles/statusbar color

Again, this is just a matter of changing images in the framework. Not that hard if you know how to use 7zip and photoshop or gimp to change the image colors. Miui just does not have those options right out the box but it can be achieved

Okay, maybe he is talking about something different....havent been on CM since hell... august last year maybe anyway on miui i have changed everything in the statbar and pulldown notification area except the text color all by changing images and or colors soo it can be done, THAT i know by (changing just images)

If you look at the pics below you will see statbar is black normally transparent grey kinda also pulldown is colored in specific parts by me including the toggles
