Here's a problem i experience with all ROM's in general, and im not sure what is causing it. 1st few days after wipe/install a new ROM everything is super fast. After about a week or so things seem to slow down drastically. Even playing Homerun 3D the game is so choppy. What would be some reasons for this happening? Is it something im doing during install? Im just about to install 1.3 and i want to make sure im doing everything right. I'm wondering if Titanium is screwing me up, even though i NEVER restore data period. If i have a game i'm playing i will just restore data on that.
I hate to bring it up, but do you use any task killers?
I know the jury is still out on whether or not they are needed, but I encounter the same problems from ROMs...even the stock VZW.
I'm not thoroughly impressed with Android's internal memory management. At least in my experience, it doesn't kill programs quick enough to allow for more things to run that need the free'd up memory. Again, thats my personal view/experience.
Rebooting never really works for me either as so many things load on startup that, even though they may be idle, and not using any actual memory at the time, it still takes time (lag) to free up the memory needed.
