Announcing the Official Team Chaos IRC Channel

Just thought everyone should know that there is now an official IRC channel for Team Chaos. It is irc://freenode/redrum_chaos

The Team Chaos members are in there quite often and are quite willing to help out with questions and such.

I use mIRC, but this is also good from what I hear:
IceChat IRC Client :: IRC Client Extra-Ordinaire :: The Chat Cool People Use

Has some good info as well... IRC is basically a large chat room hosted on a server where everyone can gather and talk. Makes it easy to ask questions and you can even use it to send files between users if needed.

Once you have it installed, you should be able to just click on the link in my sig to get you into our 'room'.

It took me a while to figure it out but it is important to remember that ICEchat goes on your PC, not on your droid. There are a few apps for the droid if you want to chat from there. BUT I find the larger keyboard much easier for a chat room.

Heh, yeah, I should have probably mentioned that ICEchat is for your computer. On my droid, I use an app called andchat... works pretty well, but for stuff like IRC chatting, I do prefer my computer.
