I really like this rom because of how small it is, but for some reason Pandora does not work. anyone know why?
This is a discussion on Pandora not working within the Steel Droid forums, part of the Custom Roms category; I really like this rom because of how small it is, but for some reason Pandora does not work. anyone know why?...

I just tried to install it on the stock, rooted FRG83 leak, and it keeps FC'ing. Version number I have installed is 1.5.1 right from the market

is it redundant to say, "me too"?
I really think its the app. I can't get it to work on any rom, including leaks and stock.

I'm having trouble too... seems to work without my headphones plugged in, but if I have headphones or an aux jack plugged in it just says "error" and then music player won't play songs either?
Any ideas?
I have found the Answer!!!
Partly in the Xda dev forums and partly in other Forums.
Below I include the " sign to mean this is the text exackly. Don't include the " marks in your changes.
In your Steel Droid build.prop found in /system
find the line that says "ro.build.version.release=2.2.2" etc...
delete everything "2.2" so it now reads:
"ro.build.version.release=2.2"
Next go down the the section "#Additonal_build_properties"
change the 4 lines that begin with media.stagefright so the values are false. It should look like this:
"media.stagefright.enable-player=false
media.stagefright.enable-meta=false
media.stagefright.enable-scan=false
media.stagefright.enable-http=false"
Save the changes and reboot. Pandora now works!
I applied both the Stagefright and the ro.build.version.release changes at the same time, so I'm not sure if changing the
ro.build.version.release line is as essential as the stagefright changes. I do know from previous experience and reading that having stagefright values set to True for some phones, roms, kernals etc is bad for certain apps. So I'd say try this and see if it works for you.
Happily listening Pandora as I type this.
