I think Chevycam94 is a pretty cool guy. Eh rocks my Droids and doesn't not hack anything.
Just wanted to extend my boundless appreciation for both Steel Droid 9 (smoothest OG Droid experience in 2 years!) and this thread, which I've referred people to more times than I could count in the last year. You are a Dev among Devs, mang.
Thanks a million. Im going to update the OP, and then get to work finishing up my Droid 3 v4.0 ROM. It was supposed to be a Christmas release, but I havent been able to sit down for 5 minutes. Always something more to do. This is what happens when you hack and mod just about everything you touch. lol

Awesome list! I too bought SetCPU from the market way back when I first rooted my OG Droid, hell of an app to not buy and support the dev.
One addition I'd recommend is Notepad++ (free, for desktops/laptops). Sort of like a bare-bones Dreamweaver great for editing XMLs (I saw xUltimate, APK Multi Tool and Gimp, all things I use to theme, so wanted to share that as well).
BTW, I had no idea APK Manager is no longer supported... Time to upgrade!

I have to second the Notepad++ recommendation. For you Windows people out there, you can even set it (or anything else, really) to open files with no extension, something really handy if you're editing Android system files. It's a registry change:
Save as "whatever.reg" and Merge it.Code:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.] @="Notepad++_file"
