Maybe I'll be lucky and Chevy will manage to get his latest update out just in time for my last day of having the d1 as my main phone

I'll also upload all of them with my tweaks at some point so everyone can grab them

Well, bad news guys. Both my PS3 and my laptop just went down last night, within an hour of each other. Im trying to salvage what I can off the laptop, as it had all my PS3 CFW builds (my own that I made), my game backups, movies, pictures, music, and ALL OF MY ANDROID SOURCE. The PS3 hard drive is fine, but the system now has the YLOD. (if someone would like to help me get another one, I would like to hear from you, and have donation money from my Android work here to help pay for it).


I will keep you guys updated on my progress. Guess I wont be getting anything up tonight. Will be a few days until I get the system back up and running again to make any builds.

Nope, not on GIT, but I DID manage to save everything locally to a spare 500GB USB hard drive from my PS3 (which is in the shop right now). Im backing up EVERYTHING I can pull from this drive. Its being a pain, as the Windows partition doesnt want to be read by most of the software I have. I did get ALL my Android Source backed up, and am working on my PS3 CFW right now (about a 5 hour copy time, LOTS of stuff here). Next up is all my movies, music and pictures, and that should be all. I hope this hard drive isnt broken, that would really suck. Its only 8 months old, and its a 500GB hard drive as well, and I use every last MB of it. lol

Yea your right about quickpic, way better than stock gallery, and everything that was blanked out is back. Thanks alot. I take it its safe to delete Gallery3D.apk then? I like that built-in news n weather widget which is why I was wondering if it's safe to try n install other apks. Which reminds me, I don't think I ever did a fix permissions when I installed n restored. Amazingly its been running without a hiccup. Incredible, the OG blows me away everytime.

I'd suggest Amazon.com to buy it...its only 229.99 there but 299.99 at verizon

Hopefully they'll have an Easter sale or something... I also read an article saying that a new, cheaper ($199.99) version of the nexus will be released this upcoming week, it'll only have 16 Gb internal storage though (big downside of the nexus is no sdcard though so you'd be stuck with only a max of 16 Gb)

Honestly I wouldn't mind the nexus but at the same time I do not really want it. No SD card is a big no go for me, and I'd actually be forced to use a screen protector. I didn't think about easter sales though. hmmmm.
