I simply downloaded the one (4.0) that was listed on the front post...I wasn't aware there was another one, or that this was hadn't been updated in a while.

Also, I wasn't whining or complaining about the issues...I was simply trying to find out if it was a known issue or something specific to my device.

It didn't seem like you were whining or complaining at all. I just figured you might not have known that you were installing an older build instead of an updated one. OK, I need to get a tester for my new, and hopefully WORKING, Galaxy Nexus MAGURO build. Please have real experience in flashing and bug testing. I may need screenshots from time to time to know what exactly is wrong if its graphical, or requires me to see whats on the screen.

This link might be easier to follow since it doesn't have all the other phone builds included in it [ROM] Steel Droid 10: (GB 2.3.7) Released 3/8/12 as you see the build date is 3/8/12.

Yes they are both gingerbread. One has been themed to look like ics but the other is unthemed.

I know I need to update my D2 build. I'm going to make a test build for the D1, see if it still looks right. Do you have the D2 or D2G?

I have the D2,I have two of them actually. one is running your Droid Steel rom & the other has MIUI Icecream 4.04 at the moment. I'd like to ditch the MIUI & install Steel on there but that phone has 621 on it

Only complaint I have about Steel would be Airplane Mode & the 3G being a pain to get select or to work sometimes. I have no idea if this is possible but it would be nice to have a set of signal bars for 3G as well like the MIUI has.. other wise I love it & Great Work, It seems you have a nice fan club going

First found v9 for my OG (now on v10) and flashed 4.8 for Droid 3 last night. Love them both. However, I can't find the toolbox in the settings menu for the D3. Was looking forward to some customizations (battery/signal indicators, etc).

I haven't done this personally, but presuming Steel Droid has a kernel check on the D2, maybe if you disable that check you can install it with a 621 kernel:

Theres another GNex release! v2.5 is up for Toro, and includes the ever popular and useful, NOTIFICATION PULLDOWN TOGGLES! Among other things of course. For those of you that have been following VanirAOSP on GITHUB, I have been submitting some of my ROMS patches and work to them to include in their more global releases. Im still getting the hang of GIT, but Im working with a very cool, and very helpful group of guys. Im technically not part of their team, but rather just help out by submitting some of my stuff that could help them out as well.
