Hi Guys,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but my browser is running really slow at work, and it would take me all day to get through the 122 pages of replies.

I installed v5.5 on my unlocked and rooted D3 yesterday. When the install was complete, my APN settings were picked up off the SIM, but after about an hour and a half the APN settings were erased, and I was unable to save new ones when I attempted to recreate them.

This may have been something that I did, as I was setting up the phone the way I like it, but I couldn't see any reason for it, when I went looking for a cause.

I'm new to the Droid 3 and SteelDroid, and ICS in general, so any help or advice anyone can give me would be really appreciated.

ps. I'm in New Zealand, so the phone is running in Global mode on a WCDMA network.

hey chevy, i have the droid 1 but my friend did all the grunt work to put steel droid on my phone. i was wondering how to get rid of go launcher and just use the stock launcher

Get Root Explorer you then can delete it from system/apps. If you want top keep it but just use the stock launcher by itself just download the homeswitcher app free from the play store.

ive already tried deleting go launcher with astro but when i delete it doesnt disappear. i tried rebooting after i deleted it and it came back

for some reason, whenever i try to access text to speech, it force closes.

For example in google maps navigation, when it asks to dl TTS.
