Lower the SD read ahead to 512 (bytes). Anything higher on my droid causes music skips.

In SD10, it there should now be an option in the Steel Box.

if not, you can use root explorer, and goto /system/etc/init.d
edit 05sdcard file
in there you'll probably see 1024 or 2048. Just edit this number string to a lower byte number, like 512 or 256. save and reboot.

Yeah in advanced there is a Sdcard speed hack with sizes in kb... 1024, 2048, 3072....5120. Is this what you are referring to?

So far in SD10 I have not had the sound glitches... usually starts after a ROM is installed for a few days.

May I also ask, what does "20userinit" "02mountsd" and "01modules" files do in the init.d folder. Do I need them? Since I already have 11link2sd, do I need 02mountsd?

I just feel like there is too much files in the folder and causing a long boot up time.

I don't think its the scripts in there, most only take a second or 2 to run... Try deleting the bootanimation (not disabling it)

Select froyo as the user agent instead of just android

I've noticed my home screen doesn't extend all the way to the bottom of the screen and there is a gap there. Anyone else seeing this?
