I'll give this one a good stress test. I typically need to charge my phone very often as I stream quite a bit. Most months I'll hit 8-9gigs used. So far for the better part of the day I have had near 0 complaints. I ran Quadrant and received probably my highest stock score ever at 1366. I just nandroid backed up this as a rom I will definitely revert back to as it is the most stable 2.3.4 rom I have used.
HI5 Chevycam!

I must say this ROM is awesome. I'm yet to find anything not working well. And not that it's a big deal since D1 has no back facing camera, but I thought 2.3.4 included support for video calling. I flashed the first CM7 based on 2.3.4 and in talk I had that option.
I loaded extra apps and got talk but no video call option. It also supported voice from gtalk if the other person had only a Mic. Is that in a newer version of talk or just not working in this ROM. I haven't tried flashing the latest gapps.zip wonder if that would do it?
Anyway with our without the cute video call feature this blows CM7 away!
Thanks

Thank you thank you thank you thank you for not using launcherpro. I use go launcher anyway. I'm liking it so far.
I also just hit 1525 on the quadrant. Switched to rz's 1100 lv.

Can anyone tell me if the zoom works in the video recorder while recording video? Zoom the lens while recording video and tell me if it locks up or freezes.

You might wana try the Chevy SS5.2GB rom as it's configured with memory in mind and set up to boot for 256 megs of memory. ChevyNo1 - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum I might give steel Droid a try anyways. i'm hearing good things about it.

Is it just me or is there no "news and weather widget" in this rom? Other than that so far so good.

Just in case anyone cares 2.3.4 does support video and audio chat in gtalk.
I flashed gapps 0503 from CM and it now works.
Chevy, any reason not to use the 0503 version of gapps? Must be a newer version of gtalk than your additional apps.
