[RELEASE] Steel Droid 9.0 Gingerbread - 11-17-2011

If any one wants to suggest some changes that might be nice (graphically), to v10.0, then let me know. I might be pushing up the release date quite a bit.

I love the interface. I can't go back to a stock droid now. Only issue now is my battery life (5 hours of minimal use). Any idea what it could be? I'm reflashing 9.0 to see if it fixes anything. All CPU settings are left to default. Nothing running in the background that pulls data.

I can think of 2 things that I really just noticed today. Maybe possibly the text of the clock on the lockscreen like more ICS like because it just looks so out of place with the roboto font, and darkening the pull down notification power widget the grey just kind of looks so out of place. other than that your theming is phenomenal and better than other theme attempt roms

Well that is surely good news...the one thing that jumps out to me is the top battery bar. If you are going for ics blue, that would be perfect.

I think your right about the clock font. I liked Roboto, but with ICS, it does seem a bit misplaced. Anyone have a link to a font file for the ICS font that they like? I prefer one with a screenshot of some kind, so it makes judging it a bit easier.

That is pure ICS Blue right there. R3Ds shared that hex code with me as he is the one who created Liquid's ICS theme

FF33b5e5 is the one that comes up as default in many of the ROMs I am running on my Nexus. I also pulled an image from the framework and use GIMP to get the hex off it to double check and it came up the same.

Bruhniggs, the one you provided is real close, looks just a bit brighter though.

Haha, yeah. But if it is ICS Blue then it's good. This is part of the reason why I dont use SD 9 because of the Dark Blue colors of the notification bar. I'm a bit picky when it comes to themes and I like to make my Droid look like an exact replica of ICS and no additional MODS implemented in - unless if it looks beautiful.
