Hey Chevy, Loved your work on my OG Droid. I picked up a Droid 3, thinking it would be a decent phone...and now the software is killing me. The only thing holding me back from installing your latest rom is the bluetooth support. Your latest revision mentions improvements in bluetooth, but there is still a warning that audio will not connect. I use the phone to commute and use bluetooth daily to steam audio and phone calls to the cars stereo system. Is the bluetooth still a showstopper? The issue appears to be universal in other roms as well. Is there anyway I can help the project along. Thanks man and keep up the good work. -Dagwood
The bluetooth issue, on the Droid 3 and a couple other Motorola phones, is because Hashcode and a couple other guys are working on getting a hacked together driver to get Bluetooth back up and functioning in ICS. If you were to use the Galaxy Nexus for example, you wouldnt have that issue, as everything works for it already.

If the Bluetooth is a killer for you, you could always try Chevy's Steel Droid v4.6, its based off of GB so everything works.

Flashed the ROM earlier and I love it. Camera for the most part has been working nice. Is there a zip available for swype and any reason why Chrome Beta does not work?

Chevy,
Again, thank you for your work on this custom ROM. It feels harder to find good ROMs for this droid, at least compared to the OG Droid. I successfully flashed the ICS 5.2 onto my old 3.0 gingerbread version. Everything seems fine and operational. I have not tried the bluetooth yet, but I understand this is a known issue and is being worked on. Nevertheless, i seem to be missing the email application. Of course, gmail is up and running, but I don't see the motorblur messaging application for corporate email and sync. I recall in the older version, you had to add this in separately. If this is stupid question (perhaps it has been moved in ICS), please excuse my idiocy.
Thanks,
Jack
nice work

Found a stock ICS email apk here (As mentioned in the review: Stock ICS e-mail client and movie editor for the One X - Android @ MoDaCo). I pushed it the system/app directory, and I am up and running without Moto crap. Much thanks to the developer for freeing Droid 3 owners of the moto bloatware.
Installed, good rom and runs smoothly. But not for me, doesn't work the GSM and doesn't support HDMI. Back to Steel Droid 4.6
