So if I have installed safestrap then I make a backup in non safe mode and then toggle safe mode on then clear data/cache and install zip, correct?

No, not entirely correct. You have one extraneous step in there.

1: Install SafeStrap
2: Make a backup in non-safe mode (NOT NEEDED)
3: Toggle Safe Mode
4: Wipe system/data/cache/dalvik
5: Flash new ROM

When you toggle Safe System, a backup of your running system, is automatically made, before switching over to the other system.

So it's not necessary? The only reason I ask is because I was reading hashcodes directions on his blog and it said to make a back up and then toggle to safe mode?

That's just for good measure in case the crap hits the fan. I've never made an extra backup with my non-safe system and haven't had a problem yet. I guess if you don't need the SDCard storage then you may as well do it.

Did you go to Setting>Accounts and all that to sync your FB? or install the FB app from the market?

All my FB stuff is synced and I did both of the above ^ O_o

I first tried to add the facebook account from accounts, but FB didn't show up. So I then DL FB and tried it that way. When I try and add FB in setting/account, nothing happens. Any ideas?

I also use FriendCaster Pro; it syncs contacts. I like it better than the Facebook app. It gives a better display

Yes, but mine has alot less than yours. I just tried to add my email accounts also, and it just sits there and does nothing. Twitter added just fine. Any clue? The same thing happened with CM9/ICS Alfa#3 too, but Hash some how fixed it in Alfa#4

Same here, that's what im trying to find out, how to fix it? And because of that, FB wont sync with my contacts.
