That was what the draft scouts said about cam before he was drafted. Carolina need one of the vets to grab the young guy and tell him to get his stuff together.
I don't keep up with college football so I don't know players, I know Manziel

The problem with that is that great QBs from college such as those 3 don't come very often from what I've seen. These three are just born leaders and are going to be great QBs, heck they can be argued to be up there already, look at what all 3 have accomplished. But like I said I don't keep up with NCAAF so I don't know if there are other good QBs from this year's draft class.

Since we're starting over, I want to see more of Foles. Giving him a chance in this dysfunctional season wasn't a real chance imo. I think Eagles fans have accepted the fact that they won't make playoffs next season, let's see what the rookie that we got can do, give him a full season with a more stable coaching staff.

As for Cam, the great ones learn and know how to lead a team to victory. Cam knows how to push all his team's buttons. I honestly don't see his attitude changing at all, even if he goes to a winning franchise. He's let his talents get to his head and still doesn't realize that his poor attitude affects the rest of the locker room. The NFL is a grown man's game, Cam is just a child playing with the big boys right now.

This years qb class is eh. You guys may be better off staying with Foles. Do not throw money away trying to reach. Plus you will have some decent qbs in free agency. I would suggest Alex Smith but I am not sure if he can handle being in a rough town like Philly where you are loved one day and hated the next.

I've never been a fan of Smith, but last year he proved himself, he proved he is a winner and just wants to ball. He finally found the right coach for him and unfortunately that coach, like all his others, kicked him to the curb.

I don't know which coach we'll be getting, the coach will ultimately decide who throws for Eagles. If it's Smith, then I welcome him over Vick to be honest. Vick has made more knuckleheaded plays this season than Smith has the past 3 seasons combined. At this point, I welcome any changes, heck I said blow up the team. We got a very talented big name roster on both sides of the ball, but no one on the coaching staff could get the players to really build that chemistry. I'm definitely in to see all these players back, and see if a new coach can at least show some promise of getting it to work, if that fails, blow it up.

being an nfl coach has to be one of the toughest job emotionally. I know they get paid good and it is part of the business but you look at the amount of stress and time spent away from their families. 2 coaches have lost their sons during their coaching tenure (Tony Dungy and Andy Reid) and after all the emotion, missed birthdays/holidays, and sacrifice of your family you get to hear "we feel it is time for us to go in a different direction". Heck even the great coaches have been fired. What a rough gig, not trying to put it above jobs like the military, emergency services, or any other job I am just wanting to point that out.

No doubt it's a stressful job. Anyone with a job that is lucky enough to see their family everyday after a hard day of work should be grateful. Being an NFL coach is a tough gig, but it takes a certain person to take on that kind of job. Their love of football is something that all family members agree on when they take on this sort of job, or any sort of coaching in any sport. Family time is sacrificed, but a great paying job and doing something you love, kind of a hard gig to turn down. Family comes first, all coaches with a family know this, but they know they need to be away to provide for their family and giving them the best life possible. Athletes and coaches are no different than "normal" people, they just do it at a scale where they're under the microscope of the nation on a daily basis.

The players stopped playing and sadly some of those same players will be in front of the camera giving their "sorry for coach" speech when the reason he got fired was because you (the player) stopped playing.

    This.

EVERY game had the defensive players with their heads down after they let up a score or a big play. The whole defense had a poor attitude throughout the season and would just give up. A true lack of effort on that side of the ball a lot of times

Reid is one that loves his players as well. Unfortunately he saw his son in Vick, went to bat for him too many times in too many ways and the team gave up on both sides of the ball. Vick outside of running all over the place when he was younger and not banged up, is average at very best. He isn't a team leader by nature though he was given the assignment by default.
I see Cam as one and the same as Michael Vick if he doesn't grow up, except perhaps the stint in the pen. If he doesn't grow up his team will quit on him too.
